Alpha Course

The Alpha course in Faringdon, takes place on weekday evenings for 8 weeks with breaks for school holidays.  The next course is due to begin on Thursday 30th September 2010, contact Sarah Oliver for details.

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over eight thought-provoking weekly sessions. It is low-key, friendly and fun.

Sessions begin at the Family Centre 7.15pm with a light meal and the opportunity to get to know each other (but don’t worry if you can’t arrive until 8pm) followed by a short talk and a chance to discuss your questions within a group who are also looking for answers.

The course is designed for anyone, but particularly those who are not yet regular members of any church and want to find out more about the Christian faith in an informal atmosphere and with no pressure.

We would like you to encourage your family and friends to come. Do come as well if they would like company. We can provide you with a written invitation explaining the course as help. Next time you are sharing a cup of coffee with your family or friends, please mention Alpha and the course in Faringdon.
